Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.
Today I'm doing a tag and it's the "Handbag-Addict" tag, which was created by Lydia Elise Millen. I talked about her before, and you should definitely check out her YouTube channel and her blog. Her bag collection is to die for, and since all of you know that I love bags more than I should, I thought I'd do her tag. :)
I currently have 12 bags, I think. Some of them are more expensive, some are from the Highstreet. I like to keep the balance. If I see a nice affordable bag, I'll buy it. H&M does great bags, for example. I have two from them and they still look as good as new although I've worn them so much.
2. How do you organize and store your handbags?
I generally keep all my bags in my wardrobe. If the handbags have dust bags, I'll definitely put them in there. I also my sure that I tug the strap of my crossbody bags into the bag so that it won't scratch the leather.
3. What was your first handbag purchase?
I purchased my first handbag when I was about twelve or thirteen. It was a bright red Tom Tailor crossbody bag and I was SO proud. Since I stopped using it, I gave it to my younger cousin, so I unfortunately can't show it to you.
The funny thing is, that the year after I purchased this red bag, I bought another red bag by Fossil (which I don't have anymore either). I think red is kind of my thing since I bought a red Furla bag last year. :D
4. What is your newest handbag?
My newest handbag is a quite recent purchase. It's the Orchard Street Arla Crossbody Bag by Kate Spade New York. I absolutely love it! I needed a more casual black crossbody bag for so long and I finally found one, which makes me so happy. Furthermore it looks a bit like the Gucci Soho Disco Bag, which I also absolutely adore. However the Gucci bag is still a bit too expensive for me, so the Kate Spade bag is a good dupe. :)
5. What is your most expensive handbag?
My most expensive bag is my black Furla Metropolis bag which retails for around 410€ but I think it was absolutely worth it! Generally all Furla bags have an amazing quality.
6. What was your most dramatic handbag buying experience?
I don't think that this situation is particularly dramatic but heyho. So, I wanted to buy a red Furla bag and I was eyeing it up for ages. Then I saw it on the Black Friday Sales and i knew I wanted to order it, but I thought I wait until the next day to be completely sure that I want it. That was my mistake... Why did I wait? The next day it wasn't in stock anymore... I was gutted because it was quite a good deal. Anyway... This made me want it even more so I bought it for full price around Christmas and I have no regrets. :D
7. Current favourite handbag store?
I obviously love Furla bags since I own two of them but I also really like the look of ChloƩ bags. I've never had one but I can imagine that they are really nice.
8. Current favourite handbag?
My favourite is probably my red Furla. I am obsessed with the colour since it completes every outfit. You can never go wrong with a red handbag! I just looove them!
9. Least favourite handbag?
I don't really hate the bag, it's more of a Love-Hate relationship. I use the Longchamp Le Pliage Crossbody Bag for university. I like the look of it and that so much fits in there but the quality is just bad. This bag costs about 120€, which is a lot for a nylon bag, in my opinion. It gets white marks, where the colour comes off, and if you put it down too often, it'll basically get holes at the bottom, which is not funny at all. This is actually my second crossbody bag by Longchamp. I had to bin the first one after two years.
10. Next Handbag purchase?
I'm eyeing up the new crossbody bag (I'm really into my crossbody bags :D) by Strathberry, which will launch in Autumn this year, which is such a long time... It's called "East/West" and it just looks sooo beautiful. Hopefully it's not gonna be too expensive...
11. What is your dream handbag?
If we are talking every bag in the world, no matter how unrealistic... I'd love to have a Chanel Le Boy Bag. It is so beautiful, classy but modern. I just love the look of it. However, I know that Chanel bags are ridiculously expensive so I'm quite sure I won't ever own one.
What is your favourite handbag? Let me know! :)
I hope you're having an amazing weekend! See you, xx
