Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette // Review

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

I just couldn't resist and bought another Zoeva eyeshadow palette. This time I went for the "Cocoa Blend Palette" which has a lot of beautiful warm-toned shadows in it and it just looks stunning. Zoeva palettes are so affordable and the quality of the shadows is just amazing for the price.

The palette is made out of a really sturdy cardboard and it's really slim which makes it perfect to travel with. The golden details on the palette make it look so much more expensive than it is. Inside there are ten eyeshadows but no mirror, which doesn't bother me because I never use mirrors in palettes anyway.
Let's talk about the shadows. The quality is as always fantastic. They are pigmented, they are really easy to apply and blend, they last for almost the whole day without a primer and the selection of colours is amazing. I used it a few times now and you can create so many different makeup looks with it.

A closer look on the shadows:

From left to right: Bitter Start, Pure Ganache, Sweeter End, Substitute for Love, Warm Notes

Bitter Start: Bitter Start is an off-white matte eyeshadow which is perfect as a transition shade or to lighten up the inner corner of the eye or the brow bone.
Pure Ganache: Of course, every warm-toned palette needs a good gold eyeshadow and this one is just amazing. It's a metallic gold which looks amazing with blue eyes since it's a little bit on the orange side. It's buttery and applies really opaque since it's highly pigmented.
Sweeter End: I'm not the biggest fan of this shadow. I would have wished it to be more visible on the eye because when I apply it, it just doesn't show up as much as I would want. Sweeter End has a golden champagne tone.
Substitute for Love: This eyeshadow has a light brown tone and it's fully matte. It's a really nice crease shade.
Warm Notes: Metallic eyeshadows are my favourite and this one is probably my favourite metallic eyeshadow out of this palette. The colour is just amazing and makes every eyeshadow look special. It also reminds me a lot of Mac "Cranberry".

From left to right: Freshly Toasted, Subtle Blend, Infusion, Beans are White, Delicate Acidity

Freshly Toasted: This shadow has a warm brown tone. It's completely matte.
Subtle Blend: This one is also really nice. It's another metallic shade and it again is really pigmented and opaque.
Infusion: Infusion is a matte grey with gold glitter in it. I am not the biggest fan of these eyeshadows because the glitter is often not really visible on the eyes.
Beans are White: Every palette needs a darker shade and I think it's a nice change that it isn't black for once but a really dark, matte brown. I like it.
Delicate Acidity: This shade is really interesting since I haven't seen a colour like this in a palette before. It's a grey-ish purple shade with a really subtle shimmer.

This palette has convinced me once more that Zoeva makes the best affordable eyeshadow palettes. The quality of the shadows is really nice and also the colour spectrum is amazing. If you are looking for a nice palette, I can 100% recommend it.

I hope you're having an amazing weekend! See you, xx
