Happy New Year!
I hope you've had a fantastic day yesterday celebrating with your family and friends!
I thought I'd do a New Year's Resolutions list this year, since I've never done something like this on my blog before, and I also never did them in general.
Without further ado, here are my New Year's Resolutions 2018:
- I want to learn French and practice a bit every single day.
I have an upcoming trip to France in 2019, and for that I want to try to learn some French. I always wanted to learn it in school, but I never got the opportunity since I already had English, Latin and Italian. However, since I go to France next year, this is the best time to start.
I'm usually extremely busy because of university, but I'll give my best. I also will use the app Duolingo which will maybe make it easier to keep it up. - I want to start doing more creative things again like painting, drawing or handlettering. In school I had six hours of arts class every week, and I miss it so much!
- I have never managed to keep using my calendars. So, if I can keep it up this year I'll try to start a bullet journal again next year.
- I don't want to miss any blog posts this year, which means I'll try to upload a new post every single week. I also wanna try to post on Instagram more regularly, maybe like every other day. I've really been struggling with Instagram last year, so I hope it'll get better this year.
- This year will be a lot different, since I'll spend at 2-3 months in England. I always wanted to go to England, and since I study English at university, I have to go to a country with English as its first language for at least three months.
This all sounds like so much fun, but I've never been traveling alone, and I struggle massively with homesickness, so this will be really stressful and challenging for me. I just want to stay as positive as possible about this and have a great time, while being there. - I want to become more positive.
- I want to read more. When I was younger, I used to read so much, but last year I maybe read like five books, which is quite bad.
- I want to establish a proper skincare routine again, since I was quite bad with keeping it up the last few months and I know that my skin will thank me.
- Last but not least, I definitely need to drink more water and this year will be the year of getting properly hydrated.:D
These are all of my new year's resolutions. What are your resolutions and goals for 2018? Let me know in the comments below. :)
I hope you've had an amazing start to the new year! See you, xx
