Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.
When the seasons change, I'm always excited to do all the things that I couldn't do in summer. A few of these things are, for example wearing cozy jumpers and heeled boots, drinking hot chocolate in bed and watching Netflix whilst outside it's raining or simply painting my nails in gorgeous autumnal colours which I have missed over the summer.
This autumn I have noticed that I'm drawn to three colours in particular, which I want to share with you in this post. Let's start!
from left to right: Exposed, Angora Cardi, Master Plan |
Exposed
If I remember correctly, this is a nail polish colour which came out about a year ago, and since then became part of the standard collection of Essie. "Exposed" is a dark khaki green and in my opinion it's the perfect autumn colour. I think khaki is the only green that's quite easy to pull of, since it's more neutral and it looks good with most other colours.
Angora Cardi
This one is probably my absolute fave out of these three. "Angora Cardi" is an absolutely stunning mulberry red (and looks perfect with my new bag, btw). I normally never wear reds on my nails, however, I think a dark red looks extremely elegant and isn't as much in-your-face as a bright red. Furthermore, a darker red puts an even more festive twist to the classic red nails. I will definitely rock this colour on Christmas again this year.
Master Plan
If actual colours on your nails aren't your thing, then you might want to go with a neutral colour which is, of course, more convenient, since it looks great with everything. My favourite neutral colour for this A/W season is a darker taupe called "Master Plan". It's a great everyday nail polish and you can wear it to every occasion.
I hope you're having an amazing day. See you, xx
