Best of 2018 // Beauty, Skincare, Series...

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

Since 2018 is over, I thought I'd show you some of the things I liked the most in 2018.

Beauty

Hoola Lite // Benefit
In 2018 I finally took the plunge and invested in a more expensive bronzer, since this is something I use every day. It was totally worth it. It applies so well and it has the perfect colour. Bronzers tend to be really dark, but this one is so subtle, which I love. Full review here.

Lipstick // Tanya Burr Cosmetics
This lipstick in the colour "Bear Hug" is one of the makeup bits which I bought in Brighton. It has the most perfect nude colour and thus it's amazing for everyday use. Unfortunately, I think that Tanya Burr Cosmetics isn't sold anymore, so I don't know, if you're able to get your hands on them.

Lasting Perfection Concealer // Collection
Everyone talks about this concealer and I now definitely know why. It covers spots and dark circles so well without looking cakey. This concealer has become an important step in my makeup routine and I definitely have to stock up in March, when I'm next in England.

Topless & Barefoot // Essie
I think Essie first released this colour in 2018 and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I was looking for a nice nude for so long and it is literally the perfect colour. This is probably my most worn nail polish from last summer.

Skincare

Repair Balm // Bebe
I literally can't live without this lip balm anymore. I go nowhere without it and I probably have three of them in my makeup drawer, in case I run out. I always tend to have dry lips and nothing seemed to help, so this saved my lips and I would recommend it to everybody.

Q10 Eye Pads // Balea
I know that for some people I'm maybe a bit too young to start with anti-aging products already, however, you can never start too early, am I right? I started to see really fine lines under my eyes, so I wanted to try anti-aging eye pads just to prevent them getting worse. I really like these ones from Balea because they feel quite refreshing under the eyes and they are also not too expensive. I noticed that eye pads can be soooo expensive! Furthermore, they also seem to be really popular since they are ALWAYS sold out which is quite inconvenient since I need to stock up!!!

Sugar Scrubs // L'Oréal
This is again a product that was first released at the beginning of 2018 and I've been using it ever since. I use the green version with the kiwi seeds which supposedly reduces spots. I haven't noticed that it reduces spots, however, I also don't get any new ones from it, which is amazing as well since my skin reacts badly to a lot of products.

Shower Gel // Nivea
Shower Gels are normally not that exciting to me, however, I was sooo excited when Nivea brought out a new shower gel this summer, which smells like their sun cream! This may sound a bit weird, if you haven't ever used the Nivea sun cream, but I use it all the time when I'm out in the sun in summer and thus, this is the most summery scent to me. It has so many positive memories connected to it!

TV Series

This year was the year of Netflix. Believe it or not, but I only just started watching Netflix, and it changed my life (okay, maybe not that dramatically). I have discovered so many amazing series this year, so here's a list of my top 5 series this year:

Gossip Girl
Suits
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (perfect for Halloween)
Jane the Virgin
The Originals

Podcasts

I really enjoyed listening to podcasts this year. Here are my top 3 podcasts, which I can highly recommend:

Couple's Therapy
(the podcast by Casey Neistat and Candice Pool where they discuss their relationship)

Mile Higher
(an amazing podcasts about conspiracy theories and unsolved mysteries)

Start & Select
(the podcast by Gronkh and Onkel Jo who mostly talk about gaming, but also ramble a lot :D)

I hope you're having an amazing day! See you, xx
