Nyx has finally come to German drugstores and I was so excited when I heard about it. So I, of course, had to go and look at the new make-up and obviously buy some things. ;)
Soft Matte Lip Cream:
I think this is the product that immediately comes to my mind when I think about Nyx. I heard a lot about this and had to test it. I bought the colour "Athens", which is a coral nude, and I have to say I really like this product.
It is matte, of course, but really light on the lips, almost like there is nothing there. It isn't like a liquid lipstick that dries and doesn't move. It does move and also disappears after a few hours, so you definitely have to re-apply it after a while.
The only thing I don't like about this lip cream is the smell. It smells really strongly like vanilla and I don't like strong smells in lip products but despite that I like this product and will probably try different colours soon.
Slide on, glide on, stay on & definitely a turn on waterproof, extreme colour lip liner by Nyx:
This is the actual name of this product! :D Longest name ever! I recently started using lip liners and I'm obsessed with them so I thought I'd try a liner by Nyx. I went for the colour "02 Bedrose" which is a darker pink. The quality of them is insane! This one applies really smoothly, it is highly pigmented and also stays on for ages. I'm as you can see quite impressed and will try other colours.
Prismatic Shadows:
Fireball:
I also bought two new eyeshadows and one of them is called "Fireball" and it has a rusty-red colour with a metallic finish without any chunks of glitter. It is really smooth and insanely pigmented, too. I would dare to compare it to Urban Decay shadows which are to me the best eyeshadows you can get.
Liquid Gold:
The other eyeshadow I bought has the name "Liquid Gold" which is obviously gold but has a hint of orange. It's quite similar to "Amber Lights" from Mac, so if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, here it is. Unfortunately the quality isn't as good. It isn't as pigmented as "Fireball" and much harder to apply wih a brush which is disappointing. The colour is lovely and the quality is still okay but not convincing.
Which Nyx products would you recommend? I'd like to know. :)
I hope you're having an amazing weekend. See you, xx
