It's finally spring again. Spring is by far my favourite season since the weather is finally getting better, the flowers start blooming and the birds are waking me up singing. It's also getting lighter again and I'm feeling more motivated. I'm sitting at my desk right now writing this post while listening to Ed Sheerans new album, which came out a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it. My favourite song is "Nancy Mulligan", it lifts my mood so much. :) Which song is your favourite?
And do you know what i love, too? Right, nail polishes! (What a smooth transition... ;) )
Here are my Top 3 nail polishes for Spring and Summer:
Eternal Optimist by Essie:
I bought this not long ago and I never thought I would ever wear such a colour. However recently I really got into pinks and salmon colours.
"Eternal Optimist" has a pinky salmon colour and I think it is perfect for summer since it probably will look lovely with a tan. Not that I ever get a tan since I'm one of the pale girls who always stay pale but one can dream. ;) The nail polish looks lovely nontheless.
Fiji by Essie:
God, I wish I was there now. I made the mistake and googled pictures of Fiji, and since it rains a lot where I live at the moment I could do with some sun. ☀
"Fiji" is a really pale pink which looks almost white. It gets fully opaque with two coats of polish and I think it's a beautiful colour for spring!
Bikini So Teeny by Essie:
I think this nail polish would suit the name "Fiji" better since the nail polish has a light blue colour. I absolutely love pastell colours and on the nails they are even better. I thought about putting this polish into last years Top 3 but I decided not to. So it had to be in this year's Top since it is a really summery colour.
"Bikini So Teeny" is a light blue and I think you can never go wrong with it.
I just realized that this post will go up on my birthday which means that while you are reading this (so long you are reading this on the day it's been published) I'm probably eating all the cake. :) 🎂
