I finally completed my first Mac eyeshadow quad and I really wanted to share it with you and talk a little bit about the quality and the colours is chose. I bought eyeshadows that I thought are unique and aren't already in my collection, so they might not go well together to create a good eyeshadow look, but I think they look nice in the palette nontheless.
This was my first ever eyeshadow I bought from Mac and it made me fall in love with them. It's a really warm gold which is almost on the copper side of things. It looks amazing with blue eyes and makes the blue stand out so much more. It isn't glittery at all but it has a iridescent sheen to it since it has a frost finish.
"Amber Lights" is a really pigmented and soft eyeshadow, that is really easy to blend. I would recommend it to everyone who loves golds on their eyes, and if you have blue, it'll look even better.
All That Glitters:
I have a kind of love-hate relationship with this eyeshadow. "All That Glitters" is a really hyped shadow. I think almost everyone has it, so I thought I need it, too, since a lot of people talk about it. When I got it I was quite disappointed since I kind of bigged it up in my head. However I like it now although I don't use it as much as I would have liked.
Anyway, this eyeshadow has a light copper colour with a frost finish. The quality is as good as "Amber Lights".
Club:
This is another iconic Mac eyeshadow and it is so special! "Club" is a warm brown eyeshadow (pearl finish) which shimmers green in the light. It's beautiful.
The eyeshadow applies well but it isn't as soft and pigmented as the other two eyeshadows I just talked about. Nevertheless, I can recommend everyone to have a look at "Club" since it's quite neutral and thus wearable, but it still has something special.
Cranberry:
I mean "Cranberry" kind of explains the colour really well. The eyeshadow has a frost finish (again, apparently I really like frost finishes) which is an in-between of red and purple. It's highly pigmented, easily blendable, soft,... I just like it okay. :D
So far, I really like Mac eyeshadows. I think the quality is really good, especially the frost finishes are worth to check out. The are really pigemented and blendable and they last the entire day.
