Kiko Magnetic Eyeshadows // Review

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

I was looking around the Kiko shop the other day and this year's autumn collection really intrigued me, especially the magnetic eyeshadows. I first saw magnetic shadows from Mac a few months ago and I wanted to try those, but I never got my hands on them. So, you can probably guess, how excited I was, when I saw the ones from Kiko.
I decided to go for a dark blue and a purple shade, which are perfect autumn and winter colours. The eyeshadows cost 12,95€ and they come in the most beautiful and expensive looking packaging. Kiko is known for their affordable, but high-quality products, so I always know that my money is well spend.

Let me just tell you, the pigmentation of these eyeshadows is INSANE! I only need to barely touch the shadow to get a huge amount of pigment. I have honestly never seen something like this before. Furthermore the texture of them is really interesting. They feel really soft, almost like touching flour, but more solid. When I swatch the shadows with my finger, it doesn't apply fully opaque, but if I use a brush, it immediately applies a really intense swatch. This is kind of strange, since with almost every eyeshadow it normally works the other way around. I again only need to touch the shadow lightly to get a lot of product on the brush.

When applying it on my eyelid I experienced just a little bit of fall out, but it wasn't that bad and it was quite easy to brush it away. Overall the eyeshadows need a bit work. Of course, they are super pigmented so you need to be careful with how much colour you pick up. Furthermore the eyeshadow gets less intense the more I blend, so I needed to apply one layer, blend that and apply more layers to create a nice eyeshadow look. However, the work is worth it, because I was really happy with the result. The shadows just look absolutely stunning on the eye and they last a long time.
I can definitely recommend to look at them, if you get the opportunity, but you have to be quick, since they are a limited edition and I think they'll be sold out in no time.

I hope you'll have an amazing start to the week. See you, xx
