TooFaced Sweet Peach Palette // Review

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

I don't know, if you know that, but I have a serious obsession with eyeshadow palettes. When I saw that Douglas finally sells TooFaced, I immediately thought of the "Sweet Peach" Palette. So I ordered it... oops!

The palette is made out of metal with a magnetic closure. Unfortunately, I'm not that impressed with it. When the palette arrived, the metal was already bend, so that the palette doesn't close properly. Furthermore the magnet is not strong enough to keep the palette securely closed. The design of the palette is really cute. Inside is a nicely sized mirror and 18 shades of eyeshadow. Furthermore the palette strongly smells of artificial peaches. At first, I didn't like that, but I got used to it and the scent isn't noticeable when the eyeshadows are applied.
The palette includes an amazing range of eyeshadows from matte to metallic. You've got everything from transitions shades to darker shades to amazing shimmering shades to create every look you want. I think for the prize you get quite a lot of eyeshadows. The palette retails for 43,99€ and you get 0,95g/0,03oz of every shade.

Now let's talk about the eyeshadows. I can tell you, I was absolutely surprised by the amazing quality of them. I especially love the metallic ones, which are so, so pigmented, they apply so smoothly and they blend really well. The matte shades are also nice, one or two of them could have been a little bit more pigmented, but over all they also really work well. I didn't experience any fallout and with a primer they last the whole day.
So, the time has come, that I'll say something really controversial. I enjoy using this palette more than my Urban Decay palettes. I know, don't look at me like that. I myself would have never thought that any palette could every beat Urban Decay palettes, but this is just my personal opinion, since I know that many people say the opposite. For some reason, I enjoy the colour range more and I also think that they are just a little bit smoother and they apply just a teeny tiny bit better.

Finally, I can say. I love the inside of the palette. The quality of the eyeshadows is amazing. I do not like the design of the outside as I mentioned at the beginning of the post, since the palette doesn't close properly, but I think I've just had bad luck with that.
However, if you are looking for a good eyeshadow palette, go for it. You can't go wrong with this one and I'm already thinking of buying the "Chocolate Bar Palette", too.
