My Hair Routine 2017

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

Let's talk about hair today. My hair has always been a comfort blanket to me. Since I had acne for years my hair always gave me the possibility to hide behind it. It made me feel good although my skin was looking horrible. That's why I love my hair and I always try to keep it in the best condition possible.
I have long hair and it's colour would naturally be something between  blonde and brown but I get it bleached for one and a half years now. The way it's bleached is called Balayage. That means that my hair line is still my natural colour but then it fades into a warm blonde the closer it gets to the ends. I really like this bleaching technique because it doesn't force me to go to the salon every four weeks to get it bleached again, since it still looks really natural when it grows.

Bleaching hair is a drying process so I always have to make sure that my hair is well moisturized. I wash my hair every two to three days and for that I use the "L'Oréal Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo" for dry hair. I love the design of the bottle and also that it has a pump which is so handy since it makes using it during showering so much easier. The shampoo smells quite minty and fresh and leaves the hair well moisturized. I always wash my hair twice to really get it clean and afterwards I use one of the more intense hair treatments by L'Oréal. This one in particular makes my hair so soft and shiny that I can't go without it anymore.

After I washed my hair I, of course, need to brush it because my hair is so long that knots develop quite quickly. To detangle my hair and make it easier to brush through, I use the "Frizz Ease Daily Miracle Leave-in-Conditioner" by John Frieda. This is literally a life safer.
I then leave my hair to dry by itself and when it's fully dried I straighten it. For that I use the Remington S-1005, which is probably not the best straightener out there, but it still works fine. Here's a shocker for everyone who swears by heat protecting sprays: I don't use one, since my hairdresser doesn't like them and my hair is still in good condition even though I don't use it.
On the days I'm too lazy to wash my hair, I use the dry shampoo for blonde hair by Batiste, which I really like since it has a blonde tint to it so that it's not visible.

So, this is my whole routine. What is your favourite hair product? Tell me in the comments. :)

I hope you'll have an amazing start to the week! See you, xx
