It's been snowing like crazy the past few days, which inspired me to do something more special with my nails yesterday.
I personally love snow so much. It however is not the most amazing thing, when you want to drive your car. The roads are so slippery at the moment, that I couldn't stop my car at one point yesterday. Safe to say, I won't drive with summer tyres in snow ever again. It was a bad idea anyway.
Despite that, I always feel like a little girl again every time I see snow. It just makes me so happy. Everything is white and looks clean and it seems more silent, when everything is covered in a layer of snow.
So, yesterday I sat down and painted my nails whilst catching up with Vlogmas. It took me quite some time (maybe two hours) since I'm not too experienced in nail art (not that I wanna call my nails art, it's still far from that) but I'm quite pleased with my attempt.
I first used a base coat by Essie and then painted two coats of Essie's "Apres-Chic" on top. I love "Apres-Chic". It is the most amazing glittery silver colour and thus it's absolutely perfect for winter and Christmas. After that I painted some snowflakes with a really fine paint brush on every nail. For that I used Essie's "Blanc". I can tell you, trying to do these with my left hand was so difficult, so my right hand doesn't looks as good as my left one. So I decided to just show you my left one. :)
