What I Eat for Lunch and Dinner // Food Diary

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

I did a "What I Eat in a Day" a few months ago and it seems that a lot of you liked it, so I decided to do something similar.
I am not the biggest breakfast eater, so it's not often, that I have something interesting to show. It's also difficult, due to university, to find a day, where I have time to make an effort to cook and also to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, I thought I'll take pictures of my food whenever I have time or when I cooked something I'm really happy with. This way you'll still see the things I'm eating, I'll enjoy doing this posts more and I hope you'll enjoy it, too. :) Although you'll probably won't see many breakfast pics. :D

I made this for lunch and I think it looks really aesthetically pleasing (it was also very tasty). It's halloumi on toast with tomatoes, which I fried with a little bit of olive oil in a pan, basil and balsamic glaze. Something like this is really quick to make, so it's perfect for lunch.

This doen't look that great in comparison to the first one, but I can tell you, it tasted amazing. I just needed some carbs that day and what is better than a huge plate of pasta. This is pasta with tomatoe sauce and some cheese on top. Here's a tip: If you fry the pasta in a pan with an egg, it becomes even tastier.

I don't know if this dish is particularly well know outside of Germany, but you need to try it if you haven't. It's called "Semmelknödel with Pfifferlingrahmsauce" and it basically is dumplings made out of bread rolls from the day before and a sauce made out of chanterelles, little pieces of bacon and cream. This was also the first time I made them myself and I was so happy with the outcome. They were absolutely delicious!

This one doesn't look as nice as I wanted it to look, but it tasted okay. I fried potatoes with brussels sprouts, bacon and walnuts in a pan. I absolutely love brussels sprouts, but it unfortunately was quite dry, so you need a lot of Hollandaise with it.

I hope you liked this style of a food diary.

I hope you're having an amazing start to the week. See you, xx
