My Brighton Reading List

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

If you don't know already, I'm in Brighton at the moment and I'm staying here for six weeks. Since I didn't know how the weather would be and also how good the wifi is, I thought I'd take a couple of books with me. So, without further ado, here are the books I decided to take with me:

The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k // Sarah Knight
I heard a lot of bloggers talk about this book and I'm pretty sure that everyone has read this book already, except me... This book basically gives life advice on how to care less about what other people think, and instead use your energy on things you love. And I definitely need this life advice, because I care way too much about what other people think, and being in awkward situations is for me one of the worst things, since I'll think about the situation over and over again, and the more I think about it, the more embarrassing the situation gets in my head, although I probably wasn't as bad as I think it was. So, some tips on how to stop that would be much appreciated. :)
I let you know, if I find this book helpful.

What I Know For Sure // Oprah Winfrey
Okay, let's just talk about Oprah's speech at the Golden Globes for a second. I have, literally, watched the speech like 10 times and I'm not exaggerating. It was so inspiring to listen to her and I had all the emotions. I was crying, I was laughing and it literally makes me cry every time I watch it without fail. Anyway, this made me wanna read one of Oprah's books and I decided to go for "What I know for sure" because I literally wanna know everything Oprah knows.
Also, not only will this book probably be beautiful from the inside, it is also absolutely stunning from the outside. It's so aesthetically pleasing. If I ever write a book (which I doubt), it'll look like this.

Rebecca // Daphne Du Maurier
I thought I'd also take a novel with me. I have also seen a lot of people reading this, so I was curious. I have to be honest, I don't reeeally know what it's about, but just to roughly paint the picture, it's about a woman who moves into her new husband's house, and there she finds out more and more about his former wife, who died, but was never forgotten.

These are only a few books I wanna read this year, since one of my new year's resolutions is to read more. So, here is just a quick overview on the books I'd like to read this year. Maybe you'll find something you want to read as well or maybe you've already read some of these books. If you did, please tell me if you liked it. :)
