Disappointing Products

Hello, hello, helloo! How are you? I hope you're well.

Today I want to talk about disappointing products. These are products that didn't work for me, but that's just my personal opinion. They might work for others just fine. Furthermore, I don't have most of these products anymore, so I unfortunately can't show you pictures of them.I actually don't come across too many products that don't work for me, since I buy a lot of makeup and beauty bits on recommendation of friends and beauty bloggers. So these are the products from the past year or so that were quite disappointing to me.

Super Stay Matte Ink // Maybelline
I wanted to like this so much, since I like the colour of it a lot. I also love the style of the packaging although it's quite minimalistic. It applies really nicely since the applicator has a good shape. It's really pigmented and looks opaque on the lips.
Unfortunately, it doesn't dry down completely and it's uncomfortably sticky on the lips. Furthermore, it feels incredibly dry and it accentuates every single line.
I'm so sad it didn't work for me.

Les Chocolats Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick // L'Oréal
Another liquid lipstick that unfortunately was quite disappointing. I'm starting to think that I just don't have the lips for these kinds of lipsticks, although I wish they would work for me, since they are so amazingly pigmented and the colour is supposed be transfer-proof and should stay on the whole day. It again applies easily. The applicator is quite similar to the Maybelline one, just that this one is slightly angled, which is even better for applying.
However, after I've applied it, I wore it for about an hour until I had to take it off because it was too dry and it was creasing quite badly. I also noticed with this one that it is extremely sticky as well. It's a shame because the colour is beautiful. I have the shade "842 Candy Man".
If you have any tips on how to apply liquid lip without it creasing after 10 minutes, please tell me...

Brow Artist Designer Eyebrow Pencil // L'Oréal
Eyebrow pencils generally have to be a bit more solid so that the colour doesn't come off too strongly. However, this eyebrow pencil is sooo rock-solid that it's just a mission to apply it. I have to press on my skin so intensely to get some colour off it that it almost hurts. This also makes it impossible to draw precise lines with it.
To me, this products is a no-go and I really don't know what L'Oréal thought, when they launched it.

Master Prime Pore Minimizing Primer // Maybelline
This products just doesn't do what it says. It doesn't have any minimizing effects on pores. I rather have the feeling that it accentuates them even more. It feels really greasy on the skin and also doesn't dry down. It's supposed to blur the skin, since it has blurring powders in it, however, I didn't notice any blurring effects on my skin. I wouldn't recommend the primer at all.

Essentials Urban Skin Protect Moisturizer // L'Oréal
I was looking for a new moisturizer to try out because I've been using the "La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo(+)" moisturizer for quite some time and I wanted to try something new.
The first thing I didn't like was the scent. This face cream is heavily fragranced. Don't get me wrong, I love the smell, but I really don't like strongly scented face creams. I tried it anyway and after a week or so, I started to get quite a few spots and I think it's because of this moisturizer, since I didn't do anything differently other than that.
So if you have sensitive skin or you react badly to scented products, this face cream is probably not for you.

I hope you're having an amazing day! See you, xx
